Thanks to the DataCloud code, users no longer have to read through pages of search results to find relevant information. They specify their own search process with the dynamic map.

Instead of a standard search form, the user controls the search and the knowledge management on the basis of a cloud of terms originating from the full text of the documents searched. The keywords in the DataCloud differ in size, and are visually differentiated to help the user to distinguish their frequency and weighting within the documents available. With the aid of the cloud of related terms, i.e. the knowledge map, keywords are semantically linked and displayed in different fonts and point sizes. This makes the user search much more precise and faster. The semantic search narrows down the relevant results for users, also highlighting unexpected cross references.
